Simple Obedience

I easily get caught up in the thought processes of "What am I going to do with my life, now?" And it seems like that's all I ask of God lately. Give me guidance for the future, Lord. Show me your plan, Father. What is my purpose?

While it's not necessarily a bad thing to ask those questions, I feel like God's been speaking to me about the DAILY plan.

The simple obedience of doing what God tells me to do in His Word.

So, that's my new focus. I'll be sharing some scriptures He's placed on my heart that coincide with acts of simple obedience.

Today's scripture is borrowed from Beth Moore (see her blog here: http://blog.lproof.org/).

Philippians 2:14-15 "Do everything without complaining or arguing, so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe."

So, today's simple obedience focus is doing everything without complaining or arguing.

A CHALLENGE, indeed!
